Unit at Women’s Project and Productions and an active member and participant with
The Lark, an international playwrighting development center in NYC.
P.H writes in the
style of magical-realism. Her focus is on women’s issues. She will usually frame
her stories within an historic context, and the resulting scripts are known to provide
mature female actors with vehicles through which to showcase their talents.
She delights that her
work is fun and funny while still being thought- provoking and challenging, and
that it appeals to multi- cultural, multigenerational audiences.
P.H. Lin has won
the Dayton (Ohio) Playhouse’s National Playwriting Competition, and George
Mason University’s Mary Roberts Rinehart Award. She was a semi-finalist in 2010
for the O’Neill National Playwrights Conference.
